The Popti of Mexico, numbering approximately 700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Mayan ethnic group indigenous to the border area between Chiapas is southern Mexico and Huehuetenango in northwestern Guatemala They are an Indigenous people, with Jacaltec / Popti as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Maya people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
