The Uzbeks of Kyrgyzstan, numbering approximately 1,015,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the wider Uzbek people group, a Turkic ethnic group indigenous to the Central Asian region. They are an Indigenous people, in the Uzbek people cluster of the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Uzbek, Northern.
