They are a Turkic-speaking ethnic group native to northeastern Iran’s Khorasan region and can also be known as Quchani. They are an Indigenous people, in the Turkic people cluster of the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Khorasani Turkish.
