The Jogies of Afghanistan

The Jogies of Afghanistan, numbering approximately 22,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a stateless minority tribe of Uzbek origin and ethnicity. Most Jogies migrated from Bukhara during the Soviet era seeking asylum in northern Afghanistan and can also be known as Jati, Jat Gypsy, Jatu. They are an Diaspora people, in the Jogi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Dari.
