The Mekongka of Indonesia

The Mekongka of Indonesia, numbering approximately 76,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Tolaki-speaking founding branch of southeastern Sulawesi's historic Mekongga kingdom, one of two ancient Tolaki kingdoms alongside Konawe, whose mostly Muslim villages still perform the monohu khau rice-cutting ceremony rooted in older animist tradition. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Tolaki is their primary language.
