The Penghulu of Indonesia, numbering approximately 28,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Indonesia; a dialect subgroup of Minangkabau (min). They are an Indigenous people in the Melayu of Sumatra people cluster of the Malay Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Minangkabau and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
