The Chut of Vietnam

The Chut of Vietnam, numbering approximately 7,800 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small ethnic group of north‑central Vietnam and adjacent eastern Laos composed of several closely related, historically distinct Vietic-speaking subgroups that share a common geographic origin, language cluster, and cultural background. They are an Indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Chut and their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
