They are a Kadazandusun subgroup of Sabah's Pitas district whose ancestors trace their migration from the ancient settlement of Nunuk Ragang near Sandakan to the Sugut and Sonsogon river areas. They mostly adhere to Animism and Kimaragang is their primary language.
