They are described as an indigenous community of Malaysia; a dialect subgroup of Kimaragang (kqr).
They are an Indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples affinity bloc.
Kimaragang is their primary language and Animism is their primary religion.
