The Western Nyanja of Zambia, numbering approximately 831,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique and can also be known as Chewa. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Chewa-Sena people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Chichewa.
