The Segeju of Tanzania

The Segeju of Tanzania, numbering approximately 37,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Tanzania, Tanga region, Muheza District, narrow strip of northeast coast between Tanga and Kenya border and can also be known as Dhaiso. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, East-Coastal people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Segeju.
