The Segeju of Tanzania, numbering approximately 37,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Tanzania, Tanga region, Muheza District, narrow strip of northeast coast between Tanga and Kenya border They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, East-Coastal people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Segeju.
