They are an Oromo-speaking Indigenous ethnic group in Kenya, historically known as hunter-gatherers and archers. They are also known as Watha, Waat, Aryangulo. They are an Indigenous people in the Khoisan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Waata and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
