The Yerwa Kanuri of Niger, numbering approximately 230,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Kanuri ethnic group indigenous to the Borno and Yobe states of northeastern Nigeria and can also be known as Kole, Kanuri, Bornu, Sirata, Kanouri, Central Kanuri, Kanoury, Mober, Bornouans. They are an Diaspora people, in the Kanuri-Saharan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Kanuri, Yerwa.
