The Air Tuareg of Niger

The Air Tuareg of Niger, numbering approximately 540,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Tuareg people of Niger's Air Mountains whose ancestors founded the Sultanate of Agadez around 1405 to mediate clan disputes before it came under French control in 1906, with Tuareg traders historically spreading Islam and Arabic script across the Sahara. They mostly adhere to Folk Islam and Tayart Tamajeq is their primary language.

readProverbs 8:17

As many search for hope, pray they will discover materials that will lead them to Jesus and explain the gospel in a way they will resonate with.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Pray that many will come to know Jesus, the light of the world, and have the light of life instead of walking in darkness.

For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you.
