The Tamajeq of Mali

The Tamajeq of Mali, numbering approximately 431,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a large Berber ethnic group that inhabits a vast area of the Sahara desert stretching from far southwestern Libya to southern Algeria, Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tuareg people cluster of the Arab World affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Tamajaq, Tawallammat.
