The Ahafo of Ghana

The Ahafo of Ghana, numbering approximately 91,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are one of the smaller Akan subgroups alongside the Denkyira, Wassa, and Nzema, traditionally matrilineal and centered in Ghana's Brong Ahafo region, sharing the broader Akan Kwa language and precolonial state-building heritage. They mostly adhere to Neo-Pentecostalism and Akan is their primary language.
