The Ahafo of Ghana, numbering approximately 91,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as one of the smaller Akan subgroups alongside the Denkyira, Wassa, and Nzema, traditionally matrilineal and centered in Ghana's Brong Ahafo region, sharing the broader Akan Kwa language and precolonial state-building heritage They are an Indigenous people, with Ahafo as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. They mostly adhere to Neo-Pentecostalism and Akan is their primary language.
