The Jimi of Cameroon

The Jimi of Cameroon, numbering approximately 13,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous ethnolinguistic people of Cameroon’s Far North Region, centered around Bourrha in Mayo-Tsanaga near the Nigerian border; their Jimi language includes Djimi, Jimo, Malabu, Wadi, and Zumo varieties. They mostly adhere to Folk Islam and Jimi (Cameroon) is their primary language.
