The Anii of Benin, numbering approximately 98,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Benin; a dialect subgroup of Anii (blo). They are also known as Makɔ‑Makua, Bakɔ‑Bakua. They are an Indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Anii and their primary religion is Folk Islam.
