The Yemeni Jews of Yemen

The Yemeni Jews of Yemen, numbering approximately 60 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnoreligious community that endured centuries of Islamic persecution from the 5th century onward; between June 1949 and September 1950, the overwhelming majority of the country's Jewish population emigrated to Israel in Operation Magic Carpet. They are an Indigenous people, in the Jews people cluster of the Jews affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Judaism. They primarily speak Hebrew.
