The Doms of Syria

The Doms of Syria, numbering approximately 43,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small, historically marginalized ethnic group who belong to the wider Dom people—an Indo‑Aryan diaspora community found across the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Eurasia. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Domari is their primary language.

readIsaiah 49:13

Thank the Lord for the people here and ask that His gospel will flow through this land to bring hope to those who are afflicted by the guilt of sin.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Pray that God will make a way for His path of life to be revealed to many so that they may come into His presence and experience abundant joy and eternal pleasures at His right hand.

And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven."

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
readJohn 1:5

Pray that when discouraging days come, those who cross cultures for the sake of the gospel will be comforted as they remember that the light of Christ is stronger than the darkness that surrounds them.
