They are an indigenous community of Sudan and can also be known as Mahas, Fedicca-Mahas, Fedicca. They are an Indigenous people, in the Nubian people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Nobiin.
