The Bideyat of Sudan

The Bideyat of Sudan, numbering approximately 13,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of two sub-groups of the Beri (Kige), a large ethnic group who live on the border of Chad and Sudan and can also be known as Beri. They are an Indigenous people, in the Kanuri-Saharan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Zaghawa.
