The Teda of Chad, numbering approximately 92,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Kanuri-Saharan ethnic group indignenous to the Tibesti Mountains that inhabit the central Sahara in northern Chad, southern Libya, and northeastern Niger They are an Indigenous people, with Tubu, Teda as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Kanuri-Saharan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Tedaga is their primary language.
