They are an ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the Lake Chad region of Chad, Cameroon, and Nigeria They are an Indigenous people, in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Buduma.
