The Bon Gula of Chad, numbering approximately 3,900 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as a small Chadic people near Chad's Zakouma National Park, the only ethnic group not relocated when the reserve was established, devoted to the pre-Islamic Marghai religion with reverence for sacred mountains and snakes despite nominal Muslim identity They are an Indigenous people, with Bon Gula as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. They mostly adhere to Folk Islam and Bon Gula is their primary language.
