The Ajjer Tuareg of Algeria

The Ajjer Tuareg of Algeria, numbering approximately 77,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the Tuareg Berber, indigenous to the Tamanrasset province of southeastern Algeria and neighboring areas in Libya and Niger and can also be known as Hoggar, Tamahaq, Ajjer. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tuareg people cluster of the Arab World affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Tamahaq, Tahaggart.
