They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Baloch, a nomadic, pastoral, Western Iranic ethnic group native to the Balochistan region of South and Western Asia and can also be known as Western Baluch, Raxshani Baloch, Sarawani Baloch, Rakshani Baloch, Western Baloch. They are an Indigenous people, in the Baloch people cluster of the Persian-Median affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Balochi, Western.
