The Dhori of India

The Dhori of India, numbering approximately 2,300 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Maharashtrian community also known as Dhoria that migrated from Gujarat, tracing legendary descent from a Rajput ruler who married into the herding Naika community, and divided into a priestly Waragha subgroup and the wider Dhoria. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Dhodia is their primary language.
