The Sunga of India

The Sunga of India, numbering approximately 9,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a community of Sirohi, Jalore, Jodhpur, and Pali districts, Rajasthan, descended from Khandelwal Mahajan expelled for taking up liquor-distilling. Trade and government service have replaced this occupation. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Marwari (India) is their primary language.
