The Borpi of India

The Borpi of India, numbering approximately 1,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small clan-based Hindu community living along the Uranga River in Gujarat's Valsad district, which they claim as their place of origin. They are also known as Horpa and traditionally worked as ferrymen. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Gujarati is their primary language.
