The Kokna of India, numbering approximately 1,380,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Nashik, Thane, and Dhule districts in Maharashtra and Valsad and Dang districts in Gujarat, once inhabitants of the Konkan coast. Settled cultivation and wage labor remain their main occupation. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Marathi is their primary language.
