The Kamma of India

The Kamma of India, numbering approximately 6,025,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Telugu‑speaking Hindu community of southern India, concentrated mainly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Originating as agriculturists in the fertile Kammanadu region, they rose to become a dominant forward caste. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Telugu is their primary language.
