The Huasteca Nahuatl of Mexico

The Huasteca Nahuatl of Mexico, numbering approximately 876,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Nahua people who expanded into Mexico's Huasteca region during the Post-Classic period and under Aztec imperial pressure, eventually outnumbering the region's original Mayan-descended Huastec population by the time of the Spanish conquest. They mostly adhere to Folk Catholicism and Spanish is their primary language.
