The Nimboran of Indonesia, numbering approximately 5,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a people of Jayapura Regency's Nimboran, Nimbokrang, and Nambluong river valleys in Papua, Indonesia, whose language is tentatively linked to Trans-New Guinea though its pronouns diverge from that proposal, now giving way among the young to Papuan Malay They are an Indigenous people, with Nimboran as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Maluku-Central people cluster of the Malay Peoples. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Papuan Malay is their primary language.
