The Eastern Samadu of China

The Eastern Samadu of China, numbering approximately 800 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous Yi subgroup of Zijun Village in Kunming, distinct from the Western Samadu and now primarily Mandarin-speaking as its Samu language nears extinction. They mostly adhere to Chinese Folk Religion and Mandarin Chinese is their primary language.
