The Achuar Jivaro of Peru, numbering approximately 11,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous Chicham people of the upper Amazon whose territory spans the Peru-Ecuador border, including the Pastaza, Huasaga, and Corrientes river regions.
