The Kanam of Nigeria

The Kanam of Nigeria, numbering approximately 3,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Indigenous people of Plateau State associated with the Koenoem language; secondary ethnographic sources describe them as deriving from Gomei, Tal and Piapung communities. They mostly adhere to Animism and Koenoem is their primary language.
