The Western Krahn of Cote d’Ivoire, numbering approximately 27,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Kru people who migrated into Liberia's historic Grain Coast in the early 16th century amid upheaval from the collapse of western Sudanese empires, with most Western Krahn speakers settling in Liberia and a smaller population remaining in Cote d'Ivoire. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Western Krahn is their primary language.
