The Ngama of Chad

The Ngama of Chad, numbering approximately 136,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Sara people of Chad's Moyen-Chari region near Sarh, part of the Sara Majingai-Ngama cluster whose oral tradition traces origin near the Nile before a sixteenth-century westward migration fleeing Arab slave-raiding pressure They are an Indigenous people, with Ngam / Ngama as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Sara-Bagirmi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. They mostly adhere to Neo-Pentecostalism and Ngam is their primary language.
