The Jama Mapun of Malaysia, numbering approximately 6,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a sub-ethnic group of the larger Bajau family of the Philippines, also known as Jama Mapun or Sama Kagayan They are an Diaspora people, in the Filipino, Muslim people cluster of the Malay Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Mapun.
