They are a Tibeto-Burmese ethnic group indigenous to Nepal, Southern Bhutan, and North India They are an Diaspora people, in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Tamang, Eastern.
