They are a West Slavic people of Central Europe whose culture reflects the interaction of Slavic traditions, Central European influences, and a long history of urban development, education, and craftsmanship in the historic regions of Bohemia and Moravia. They are an Diaspora people in the Slav, Western people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Czech and their primary religion is Roman Catholicism.
