The Paradhi of India, numbering approximately 8,800 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Kutch district, Gujarat, claiming descent from Valmiki, their name meaning hunter, drawn from Rajput, Koli, and other communities. Agricultural and rope-making labor have replaced temple music-playing. They are an Indigenous people in the Sindhi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Kacchi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
