The Paradhi of India

The Paradhi of India, numbering approximately 8,800 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Tribe of Kutch district, Gujarat, claiming descent from Valmiki, their name meaning hunter, drawn from Rajput, Koli, and other communities. Agricultural and rope-making labor have replaced temple music-playing.
They are an Indigenous people in the Sindhi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Kacchi is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Paradhi are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

Unreached yet Engaged

The Paradhi are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

No longer Unreached

The Paradhi are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
