The Malayali of India

The Malayali of India, numbering approximately 454,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Dravidian ethnolinguistic group originating from the present-day state of Kerala in India and inhabiting its southwestern Malabar coast and can also be known as Malaikaran, Male Gounder, Malai Jati, Malaikaran, Malai Gounden. They are an Indigenous people, in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Tamil.
