The Atollu of India

The Atollu of India, numbering approximately 250 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small occupational caste of Andhra Pradesh who traditionally performed puranic one-act plays called 'atalu veyadem'. The Atollu now mainly work as daily-wage laborers or deity displayers in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
