The Atollu of India

The Atollu of India, numbering approximately 250 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a small occupational caste of Andhra Pradesh who traditionally performed puranic one-act plays called 'atalu veyadem'. The Atollu now mainly work as daily-wage laborers or deity displayers in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Telugu is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Atollu are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
