They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Han Chinese indigenous to China's Fujian province and the island of Taiwan. They are also known as Hokkien, Hoklo, Min Nan Ren, 閩南人. They are an Diaspora people in the Chinese people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Chinese, Min Nan and their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion.
